These Terms and Conditions govern your access to https://lrs.lk/ and purchases from LRS Security Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

By using our website, creating an account, submitting an order or requesting a service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering a binding contract to place an order. If you place an order on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account, requesting a quotation or placing an order.

3. Products and Information

We sell CCTV cameras, recorders, storage devices, networking products, access-control products, alarms, smart-security products and related accessories and services.

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, specifications, images and compatibility information accurately. However:

  • Product colours and packaging may vary slightly.
  • Manufacturers may update packaging, firmware or minor specifications.
  • Illustrations may include accessories sold separately.
  • Actual night-vision distance, AI detection, storage duration, wireless range and image quality depend on installation and environmental conditions.

Customers should confirm compatibility and required specifications before ordering. Contact us if you need assistance selecting a product.

4. Prices and Availability

Prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees unless stated otherwise. Taxes, delivery charges, installation fees and optional services will be shown or communicated before order confirmation where applicable.

Products and prices are subject to availability. We may correct genuine pricing, description or calculation errors before dispatch. If an error affects an order, we will contact you and allow you to confirm the corrected order or receive a refund.

Special offers apply only during the stated promotional period and may be subject to eligibility requirements or stock limits.

5. Orders and Contract Formation

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. You will have an opportunity to review the order summary before confirmation.

An automated acknowledgment confirms that we received the order; it does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. A binding sale is formed when we confirm acceptance, receive the required payment and/or dispatch the product.

We may reject or cancel an order where:

  • A product is unavailable.
  • Payment is not authorized.
  • Information provided is incomplete or appears fraudulent.
  • A pricing or product-description error has occurred.
  • Delivery cannot reasonably be completed.
  • The order would violate applicable law.

If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount received for the cancelled items.

6. Payments

Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout or stated in the quotation.

Customers must use a payment method they are authorized to use. Payment providers may conduct additional verification or apply their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for delays caused by a bank or payment provider, but we will reasonably assist with transaction inquiries.

7. Delivery

Estimated delivery periods are estimates rather than guaranteed deadlines unless expressly agreed in writing.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate address, contact number and safe delivery instructions. Additional delivery charges may apply if delivery fails because the information supplied was incorrect or nobody was available to accept the delivery.

Risk of accidental loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery to the customer or authorized recipient, subject to applicable law.

Inspect the package promptly and report visible damage, missing items or incorrect products in accordance with our Return, Refund and Exchange Policy.

8. Installation and Site Requirements

Where installation is purchased:

  • The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the premises.
  • The customer must obtain permission from the property owner, landlord or management where required.
  • Electrical power, network access, suitable mounting surfaces and other agreed site requirements must be available.
  • Additional work or materials outside the quotation require customer approval and may incur additional charges.
  • Concealed wiring routes cannot be guaranteed unless expressly included.
  • We may stop work if conditions are unsafe or unlawful.

The customer must approve camera locations. We are not responsible for blind spots, obstructions or privacy concerns relating to locations chosen or approved by the customer, except where caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

9. Lawful Use of CCTV Products

CCTV cameras, microphones, facial-recognition systems, access-control devices and recording products must be used lawfully and responsibly.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Respecting the privacy and rights of neighbours, employees, visitors and the public.
  • Avoiding unlawful monitoring of private areas.
  • Displaying notices or obtaining consent where required.
  • Controlling access to video, audio and biometric information.
  • Establishing appropriate recording-retention periods.
  • Responding lawfully to requests or disclosures concerning recorded information.
  • Complying with employment, property, privacy and data-protection requirements applicable to the installation.

Our products are security aids and do not guarantee that theft, damage, intrusion, fire or other incidents will not occur.

10. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of website, camera, recorder, application and cloud-account credentials.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We will never ask you to publish passwords or one-time verification codes publicly.

For security, customers should change default or temporary passwords, enable multi-factor authentication where available and keep firmware reasonably updated.

11. Manufacturer Applications and Cloud Services

Some products depend on third-party applications, cloud platforms, internet connections, mobile networks or subscriptions.

Those services are operated under the provider’s separate terms. Availability, features, storage plans and fees may be changed by the provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not control and are not responsible for third-party service outages or policy changes.

12. Warranties

Products may include a manufacturer, importer or supplier warranty. The warranty period and coverage will be stated on the invoice, product page or warranty document.

Warranty service normally requires:

  • Valid proof of purchase.
  • A readable and unaltered serial number.
  • Compliance with installation and operating instructions.
  • Delivery of the affected product for inspection where requested.

Warranty coverage may exclude accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized repair, physical damage, lightning, power surges, unsuitable voltage, water damage outside the product’s specified rating and consumable components.

Applicable implied warranties and legal rights remain unaffected.

13. Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Return, Refund and Exchange Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

14. Website Use

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or another customer’s account.
  • Introduce malware or interfere with website operation.
  • Scrape, copy or reproduce substantial website content without permission.
  • Submit false reviews, misleading information or fraudulent orders.
  • Use our products or services to violate another person’s rights.

We may suspend access or cancel affected orders where misuse is reasonably suspected.

15. Intellectual Property

Website content—including logos, product layouts, graphics, photographs, videos, text and design—is owned by us, licensed to us or belongs to the relevant manufacturer.

You may use the website for personal or internal business purchasing purposes. No content may be reproduced, modified, distributed or used commercially without permission from the relevant rights holder.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use, third-party cloud services, internet outages, customer configuration, unauthorized access caused by weak credentials, or unlawful use of surveillance products.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, breach of applicable statutory warranties, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

18. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport interruption, import delays, manufacturer shortages, telecommunications failures, power failures, labour disruption or government restrictions.

We will take reasonable steps to minimize the impact and communicate material delays.

19. Complaints and Disputes

Please first contact us at [complaints email address] with your invoice number and details of the issue. We will attempt to resolve the complaint fairly and within a reasonable period.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from seeking available remedies through the Consumer Affairs Authority, Data Protection Authority, a competent court or another applicable dispute-resolution process.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional requirements, disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Sri Lanka.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions when our services, business operations or applicable laws change. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will not unfairly alter an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
